What You Will Learn

In addition to learning to paint botanicals on your own collage papers, we will break down how to solve problems, create accents, and process what we're learning along the way.

  • Learn to paint botanical figures on various semi-transparent papers

  • Practice painting loose and free botanicals, incorporating the happy accidents

  • Apply and layer our handmade collage papers to create spontaneous botanical creations

    USD $119.00

  • Is the course live or can I access it whenever I want?

    This course is pre-recorded and you can watch at your own pace, and return to the material as many times as you'd like.

  • Do you offer 'lifetime access' to the course?

    No, but you will have access for the lifetime of the course + 1 year. This means you’ll have access for as long as I continue to offer The Layered Botanical and I will give all enrollees access to 1 additional year from the time I decide to discontinue the course. (p.s. I work hard on my classes and have no desire to discontinue them any time soon :)

  • Do you offer a refund if I don't like the class?

  • Is this course for beginners as well as experienced artists?

    Artists of all experience levels are welcome and will find adequate challenge and discovery appropriate to their experience level. I instruct you in all facets of this process, so no previous knowledge of collage is required. However, if you'd like to feel more experienced in collage before taking this course, I suggest my class Introduction to Collage: Learning to Paint with Paper.

  • I attended the Collage Makers Summit and took your Layered Botanical class already. Does this class have new material?

    Yes! My class at the Summit was a 30 minute introduction to this process, but in this class you will learn more techniques, explore more papers, apply mixed media and learn to problem solve so these pieces can develop to a more intricate and complex degree.

  • English is not my first language. Do you offer English subtitles?

    Yes, I care very much about making it as accessible as possible to artists who speak different languages. I have embedded English subtitles in the class that can be accessed by you in the settings on your video player.
